Program will provide export education for small businesses.
Last week, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a new partnership with Goldman Sachs called 10,000 Small Businesses. The goal of this educational program is to equip U.S. small businesses with the tools to begin exporting their products. Small businesses employ more than 50% of the U.S. private sector workforce, and tapping into international markets can provide an opportunity for those businesses to expand even more.
Commerce Secretary Raimondo hailed the program that will ”provide small businesses with the resources and technical knowledge they need to sell their products and services around the world.” She added that the president’s administration “knows that small businesses are the backbone of our economy” and is ”deeply committed to helping America’s small businesses grow and create jobs in our communities.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Commerce officials as they implement export training for small businesses.
- For Secretary Raimondo to seek God’s direction as she heads efforts to support small business.
- For the president and his administration as strategies are implemented to support the national economy.
